Lorcan O’Herlihy (born 1959 in Dublin, Ireland) is an architect. While studying architecture in Europe in the late 1970s, Lorcan became deeply immersed in painting, developing a highly international abstract expressionism style. Lorcan currently lives in Los Angeles. This beautiful house is located in Crestwood Hills the Neighborhood of Los Angeles. Jovanovic house is a renovation of the existing villa. It has metal screens to protect from the sun. Through the consumption of a continuous foil wrap, various program elements including; a new guest suite, significant variations to the master bedroom, exterior flooring, and exterior frontage, are synthesized together with a singular cohesive element. The wrap also changes the geometry of the house making it more modest and beautiful.
